Colleges & Universities

Consent and healthy relationship training is a key part of creating a safe and welcoming environment in your college, university, or higher education setting.

You may be wondering how to incorporate consent training into your pre-arrival and Freshers’ week preparations, responding to requests, or working through the impact of a recent incident or disclosure. We can help.

Our training team has extensive experience working alongside HE providers. We can accommodate your terms and support your processes.

Our trauma-informed trainers are all DBS-checked and have up-to-date safeguarding training. We can confidently answer questions using our support work experience and extensive knowledge about trauma and sexual violence.

“I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the consent talk, it was so engaging and informative and I had a few students approach me after the session to say how grateful they were that it was included.”

Freshers Talk, BIMM College

I have worked in creative higher education (music and drama) for a number of years and have continually engaged SARSAS in implementing mandatory consent training for 1st year students wherever I have worked! Their knowledge around sexual consent is unparalleled and they approach sessions in a trauma informed way which allows students to feel supported in the space when discussing difficult topics. Sexual consent and sexual harassment is such an important topic for the next generation of the creative industries to be aware of and gain skills in eliminating, especially in post-#MeToo. I’m grateful to SARSAS for allowing us to start the conversation with these young people and hope we can work together in the future to further embed this into student’s creative practice.
