Responding to Disclosures Training

Through our responding to disclosures training, you’ll build your knowledge of sexual abuse, increase your understanding of all types of sexual violence, and develop the skills and confidence to respond to disclosures in a trauma-informed way, whether the abuse occurred in person or online.

Our responding to disclosures training is designed for all organisations and employees, and is particularly beneficial for Higher Education institutions looking to comply with current Office for Students requirements.

**WORKER PROTECTION ACT (2023)**

On 26 October 2024, a new law was introduced, meaning that there is now a duty on employers to prevent sexual harassment in their workplace. Our responding to disclosures training is designed to provide all organisations and employees with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to respond appropriately to disclosures of sexual harassment and support those affected.

**OFFICE FOR STUDENTS E6 CONDITION (2025)**

In August 2025, the Office for Students introduced the E6 Condition, a significant step towards tackling sexual harassment and abuse in Higher Education. The condition requires that staff are ‘appropriately trained’ to understand sexual harassment and abuse, respond effectively to disclosures of sexual violence, support those impacted, and carry out investigations into sexual misconduct in a trauma-informed way. Our Responding to Disclosures training equips your organisation with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to meet these requirements.
