The iconic event that needs no introduction. Raising tens of millions pounds for charity every year, and seeing tens of thousands of runners cross the finish line, The London Marathon is one of the most iconic and coveted events in the running calendar.

SARSAS is thrilled to have 2 places in the London Marathon 2027!

Date: Sunday, 25th April 2027
Location: London
Event Distance: 26.2 Miles
Fundraising target: £2,500
Registration fee: £75
Deadline to Apply: Friday 10th July


Please note: Applying to run for us does not guarantee your place. After we have reviewed all the applications, we will contact everyone who has applied. If you are unsuccessful, we will try and find other opportunities for you to get involved in a running fundraiser for SARSAS, or prioritise your application for 2028.

Event Distance: Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) 
Fundraising target: £250 
Registration fee: £20 

Description: The Great Bristol Half Marathon has a varied route – encompassing a beautiful flat stretch along the Portway, running under the Clifton Suspension Bridge, then taking you into the heart of the city.

Location: Bath
Event Distance: Half Marathon (13.1miles)
Fundraising Target: £300
Registration Fee: £20

Description: The Bath Half is known as a flat and friendly route (except for the final hill!) and provides the perfect opportunity to run through the traffic-free streets of this beautiful city.

Location: London
Event Distance: Half Marathon (13.1miles)

Description: The London Landmarks Half Marathon is not your average run! From cultural landmarks and heritage to the city’s quirky and hidden secrets, runners get to explore the capital’s iconic sights on a route like no other!


Date: TBC May 2027
Location: Bristol
Event Distance: 10km

Description: The Great Bristol Run is known for being a relatively flat route – perfect if you’re looking for a new PB! This varied route takes in Bristol’s famous rivers, green spaces and urban landmarks.
