Kinergy closure statement

We are deeply saddened by the closure of Kinergy, an organisation that has provided invaluable support to survivors of sexual violence for nearly 30 years.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Kinergy’s team for their incredible care, compassion, and commitment to survivors over the years. Their support has made a profound difference to so many lives, and we recognise the immense loss that their closure represents.

We are working closely with Kinergy and our Sexual Violence Alliance partners (The Bridge, The Green House, Southmead Project and Womankind) to provide ongoing support for people currently accessing Kinergy’s counselling services and want to reassure everyone that the same level of support will remain available throughout Avon and Somerset.

If you or someone you know has been impacted by this news, we are here to listen and support you. You are not alone.

Please visit our I need help page for details about how to contact our helpline (phone, live chat, email) as well as opening hours and who to contact in an emergency.
