Trans, Non-Binary, and Intersex (TNBI) Support Group
Coming together in a confidential space to support each other and identify ways to move forward after rape & sexual abuse.
We are relaunching our fortnightly TNBI online support group. This group is specifically for trans, non-binary, intersex, or gender-variant (TNBI) people who have experienced sexual assault or abuse at any time in their lives.
Running fortnightly over six months, the group will offer:
- mutual support with other TNBI victim-survivors
- time to share what’s going on for you
- opportunities to learn about trauma and our responses to it
- creative activities.
We know that being TNBI can affect how someone might experience sexual violence and the impact it may have on them afterwards. The concept for this dedicated space was developed by TNBI victim-survivors through focus groups held by SARSAS.
Group details:
- the group will meet one evening every fortnight, starting this autumn
- led by a TNBI facilitator
- held online via Zoom
- open to people aged 18+ living in Bristol, Bath, or Somerset.
We strive to make our groups safe and welcoming for everyone. If you have accessibility requirements and would like to participate, please let us know. Spaces are limited, so we cannot guarantee a place for everyone.

*The TNBI group is not a replacement for our other groups, which are also trans-inclusive, but an addition to these.
