Somerset & Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support (SARSAS) has specialist workers who work with women who have a learning disability or autism.

We can support women aged 16, who live in Bristol and the surrounding areas and have experienced any form of sexual violence, at any point in their lives.

We offer emotional support and advocacy and support people to:

  • learn about healthy relationships and consent

  • explore relaxation and healthy ways to cope with stress

  • move forward and start rebuilding their lives.

We provide a safe space for people to talk without being judged.

If you would like more information on our learning disability service, you can contact our helpline on 0808 801 0456, our Bristol Office on 0117 929 9556 or email us at info@sarsas.org.uk

If you are a professional and a client you are working with would like a referral to this service you can download a referral form and email it to info@sarsas.org.uk so that we can contact your client directly to arrange an initial assessment.
