FGM Pocket Guide

//FGM Pocket Guide

The NHS have produced some handy resources for health care professionals who may have a concern about FGM. They include an FGM Pocket Guide  with information on what FGM is, how to spot the signs and what to do if you are concerned or have been made aware FGM has occurred. There is also a Department of Health FGM Safeguarding Pathway.

If you are not a health care professional and are worried a child is at risk of, or has had, FGM, you can call the NSPCC FGM helpline. It’s free, anonymous and open 24 hours a day 0800 028 3550.
