After 5 years leading SARSAS our current Chief Executive Officer is moving on.

The Trustees and Management Team at SARSAS see this as an exciting opportunity to recruit for the next leader of Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support (SARSAS)

As one of the largest and busiest Rape Crisis centres in the South West working with over 1,400 survivors every year. We provide innovative and evidence based services to enable and empower survivors of any kind of sexual violence to rebuild and transform their lives.

The Chief Executive Officer role will be crucial to leading this exciting and forward thinking organisation into its next stage of development. We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, creative and dynamic woman with exceptional leadership qualities, who is passionate about making a significant difference to the lives of survivors of rape and sexual abuse.


As CEO they will work closely with a strong, supportive and confident Board of Trustees to drive forward the strategic plan for SARSAS and maintain excellent governance.
Lead an exceptional team of women focused on getting the best possible outcomes for survivors across Avon and Somerset.
Be responsible for leading on the vision of the organisation based on consultation with a wide range of partners including survivors.
Be a confident communicator, relationship builder and partnership broker with funders, commissioners and fellow providers ensuring the sustainability of SARSAS.
